Our main aim is to provide Model Engineers and enthusiasts with products and services to supplement their own expertise.

Primarily supporting the manufacture of locomotives, rolling stock and railway infrastructure we also provide services to other aspects of model engineering including mechanical, electrical, electronic and civil engineering.

Our products include completed locomotives and rolling stock in gauges from 3½” to 10¼” and traction engines from 2” to 6” scale.

We also provide equipment to:
  • Assist building such as axlebox machining fixtures, wheel profile tools, building stands
  • Ease transportation and maintenance including mobile building stands, Car loading and unloading devices, scissor stands
  • Assist safe running of locomotives including tool kits, fire irons,
  • Support the servicing and setting up of steam and other forms of motive including auxiliary pumps, boiler test kits, rolling roads, axle loading measurement devices
  • Support the correct operation of railway infrastructure including turntables, coloured light and semaphore signals, point levers in various styles


Our services include:

  • Completion of part-built models of all kinds
  • Refurbishment of locomotives and rolling stock
  • Preparation for steam testing and certification by insurers where requested.
  • Planning and advisory service for prospective garden railways
  • We buy and sell part-built and completed model engineering items of all kinds

We are also members of Model Engineering Societies in Southern England and work closely with these, the Southern Federation as well as a range of commercial railways in Hampshire and Sussex.
